LabGo 384-well nucleic acid isolation plates are based on the classic silica gel membrane technology. Under conditions of high salt content and low pH, nucleic acids are adsorbed on the silica gel membrane, and impurities such as polysaccharides and proteins are not adsorbed. Further rinsing removes the remnants of impurities. Finally, pure nucleic acids are produced by elution with a slightly saline solution or pure water.
