Product Features
- The B&M® Vial Filter consists of an outer tube, a cap cushion and an inner cannula containing a 0.2 or 0.45 mm membrane at the bottom of the inner cannula. To work, the sample is placed in the outer tube, then the inner cannula is inserted into the outer tube and pushed downwards, allowing the filtrate to pass through the membrane from bottom to top and into the cartridge. Air escapes through a small hole in the top until a retaining ring seals the unit. When two parts are joined into one, they are compatible in size with the autosampler.
- 2ml volume, made of high-purity medical grade polypropylene, insoluble in LC-MS after immersion in commonly used solvents, can be used repeatedly.
- High purity medical grade polypropylene material, press cap design. White silicone rubber/red PTFE gasket is used for pre-opening; The lower membrane of the filter is made of nylon, mixed cellulose or PTFE material, etc., with a pore size of 0.22μm and 0.45um.
